These Tapestries are from a series of tapestries I made. This particular collection was show in
installation form at the College of Dupage in Chicagoland. The individual pieces are now for sale.
Each tapestry in this Series is made with patches of white, black ,or grey yarns of all textures and types and weaves. The edges are irregular and asymmetrical. This tapestry has a gradient from black to white. Each piece is somewhat stretchy and some are shown stretched over round objects for a sculptural feel.
This trio of tapestries has been chosen to be sold together because they compliment each other so well. The white tapestry is followed by the mixed white black and grey tapestry and finally ending with the all black and a little grey darkest tapestry. I love the ombre effect but you can hang them however you like.
These tapestries can be hung on ceilings, in corners, around corners, wherever you want! They are truly unique and one of a kind. As well as Modern, striking and eclectic. A conversation starter for any home, or office! Could also make a great promotion or house warming gift!
